Más de 100 investigadores del área de Sistemas Dinámicos se reunen en Olmué, entre el 30 de agosto y el 11 de septiembre, en una de las más prestigiosas conferencias del mundo en el tema, que ya ha tenido versiones en China, Brasil, USA, Francia y Polonia. La conferencia es organizada por el Centro de Sistemas Dinámicos y temas Relacionados (Anillo PIA-CONICYT) y apoyada por el Instituto de Matemáticas de la PUCV y la USACH.
The conference will focus on the global qualitative study (topological and ergodic) of differentiable dynamical systems, especially diffeomorphisms and vector fields, that are not uniformly hyperbolic. Among the main topics to be covered are:

Our aim is to form a group of about 110 mathematicians, including some of the main international actors in these subjects, as well as young mathematicians and students. We plan to have ten days to schedule several mini-courses and a few plenary lectures, so that a large part of the time will be devoted to informal discussions.
2 to 3 lecture rooms will be available to the participants for more specialized sessions.
